
Tri-State Learning Center (TLC) provides comprehensive Applied Behavior
Analysis (ABA) services to young children diagnosed with Autism
Spectrum Disorders (ASD). TLC's Case Supervisors and Behavioral
Therapists provide ABA services to clients located in New York City,
Queens, the Bronx, Westchester County, Connecticut and New Jersey. In
addition, given TLC's knowledge base and dynamic service provisions,
TLC is able to contract with families, school districts, and other
governmental agencies to provide supervision to children throughout the
United States, Canada and Europe.
TLC is a licensed agency approved by the New York State
Department of Health to provide early intervention services and it has
a contract with Westchester County and New York City. In addition, TLC
is seeking approval by the New York Department of Education as a 4410
Special Educational Itinerant Teacher (SEIT) Service Provider.
Agency Goals Tri-State
Learning Center's agency goals are intended to guide the standard of
services and to act as the barometer for its policies, procedures and
service provisions. The agency is founded on the following goals:
- Provide a full range of high quality Applied Behavioral Analysis services
- Respond to the needs of the community
- Cooperate with and provide a resource for other agencies
- Define parents as central figures in the treatment
as they will provide direction and direct intervention in the child's
treatment program
- Respect the professional expertise of others
- Work collaboratively with school districts and related service providers to create a multidisciplinary intervention team
- Control programmatic cost while preserving the quality of services
- Control the rate of growth to insure that needs of children remain at the forefront of TLC's priorities.
- Assist and provide services to families who cannot afford them
